When you are in Adam the Law is like a legal law: something you have to follow and, therefore, something you won't always adhere to. When you are in Christ the Law is like a natural law: it is simply who you are; you follow it not because you are ordered to but because it is in order with what you are. In Christ the Law is no longer a set of commands, rules and regulations, but a list of character traits found in Him. "Do not lie," therefore, becomes "you will not lie," because Christ does not lie, and He is our very life-source. More than that, He is our life itself.
